Biography
Alon Stivi, is a leading expert on security, violence prevention, counterterrorism and travel safety. He immigrated to
the United States from Israel in 1987 and has served as an advisor to federal, state and local government agencies,
including the U. S. military and law enforcement, as well as to corporate executives and celebrities, on issues ranging
from personal protection to public safety. He taught close combat tactics to the US Navy SEAL CQB Instructors and trains
police officers and SWAT teams in the use of force and response to critical incidents. He teaches university-accredited
workshops to executives and business travelers and specializes in risk assessment and conflict resolution. He has
protected fortune 500 executives and celebrities such as: Warren Buffet, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and guests of the
2000 Democratic Convention.
Prior to his arrival in the U. S., Mr. Stivi served as a Platoon Sergeant of the Israeli Special Forces (Intelligence
and Paratrooper Units). He participated in numerous missions in defense of the State of Israel and in various aspects of
the war against terrorism.
He the U.S. Master Instructor of the Hisardut® Israel Survival System - the only system in the world specially developed
to combat terrorism. He is a two times World Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame inductee and the World Full Contact Survival
Fighting Champion Titleholder (1994).
He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and The American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers
(ASLET). He is also the Training Advisor for the International Association of Counter Terrorism and Security Professionals
(IACSP) and a Board of Advisor member of the Center for Unconventional Security Affairs (CUSA) at the University of
California at Irvine.
Mr. Stivi has been featured on network television, radio and films and in national print publications across North America.
