Session TE23: "Connecting the Dots" with Relationship Analytics
February 19, 11:00 - 11:45
Abstract:
Relationship Analytics is the science of examining data in context. It provides views of information "in relation to" everything else. Based on the concept of a graph database, relationship analytics examines how information is linked, grouped and interrelated. Relationship analytics can be applied to any field where multiple dimensions of data exist and there is a requirement to detect, analyze and visualize links or groups in context, and has proven particularly powerful for intelligence applications.

In this session, Mr. Clegg will discuss the range of problems that can be addressed with relationship analytics, review the graph-based representation that provides the technical foundation for relationship analytics, outline the range and type of relationship analyses, and discuss some of Cogito's experience providing relationship analytics solutions.

Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the ways in which relationship analytics provide simpler and more direct solutions for vexing data fusion, filtering, and analysis problems and have a sense of their options for applying relationship analytics in their own organizations.
