Biography

Holly is the Lead Engineer overseeing the Antiterrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) practice at Hinman Consulting Engineers, which has offices in San Francisco, New York City and Washington, DC. She provides vulnerability assessments and design guidance for new and existing buildings to meet current U.S. military standards for explosive weapons threats. She also has extensive experience in hazard evaluation and mitigation of window systems for terrorist threats to meet current the ISC Security Design Criteria.
Holly is also a FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Volunteer Logistics Manager and Structural Specialist with California Task Force 3. She was deployed to New York City in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 collapse of the World Trade Center to evaluate the safety of damaged buildings in the surrounding area and help to structurally stabilize unsafe structures.
Holly received her BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Stanford University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in California.
